Networking Event Scheduled for Central Illinois Alumni

Central Illinois MBA alumni are invited to attend a networking event on Thursday, November 19. The event is scheduled to take place along with Krannert Uncorked and will include wine tasting, snacks, and music. New Scholarships Announced for Professional MBA

Dean Larry DeBrock and the College of Business have announced two new scholarship programs available to Professional MBA applicants. These scholarship programs were created for the purpose of supporting local residents who have been affected by the weakened economy with full tuition for the part-time MBA program (see article). Professional MBA Professors Recognized in University Publication

Professors Greg Northcraft and Hayden Noel, who both teach classes for the Professional MBA, were recently featured in Inside Illinois for their business insights in a down economy. Professor Northcraft highlights the importance of engaging workers at all levels for making company-wide decisions. Professor Noel identifies that companies that reduce advertising to survive the recession risk sales declines that linger long after the economy rebounds.
