Admissions

The Part-time Evening MBA for Working Professionals is designed for ambitious, motivated, and capable people looking for success in today's complex business environment. If you desire to advance your career, it may be helpful to know that the Part-time MBA was started because many Central Illinois businesses reported a need to hire qualified business leaders from within the company.

We have received interest from business professionals throughout the Central Illinois region, with students in the inaugural class coming from as far away as Springfield and Peoria. Therefore, we host multiple information sessions and have representatives at various Central Illinois fairs and conventions. We encourage you to come visit us at one of these events. We also invite prospective students to visit our campus to learn more about our program. We are confident that you will be impressed by our intensive curriculum and our world-class faculty members who teach it.

The application for Spring 2009 is now available to be completed. If you are ready to enhance your career with an MBA from the esteemed University of Illinois, please complete the online application by following the steps presented below.

Congratulations on completing your Part-time Evening Illinois MBA application. The admissions committee will begin making decisions after October 1.

You can check the status of your application online here. Please be aware that it takes approximately ten business days from the time your completed application is received before your online status will be updated. You will be notified by email if your application is missing any required materials.

During the review process, you may be invited for an on-campus interview.  Please note that interviews are by invitation only, and although they are not required, we highly encourage you to accept if you are invited.

3. Decision Received
The admissions committee has made a decision, and you have received a letter in the mail containing one of the following decisions: admit, waitlist, or deny.

If you have been admitted, please refer to the response form in your admissions packet to accept our offer. You can pay your enrollment deposit online here.

If you have been placed on the waitlist, visit our Waitlist Tips to find out ways to strengthen your application. Waitlisted applicants will continue to be evaluated until the class is full.

If you have been denied admission, we encourage you to take steps to strengthen your application and reapply next year.
